It’s a bad comparison because Biden was absolutely shitty when it came to inflation. But Biden’s inflation was largely Biden’s fault. There is a very simple definition of inflation: Too much money chasing too few goods. The pandemic disrupted global supply chains providing the “too few goods”. So Biden decided to ladle THREE TRILLION DOLLARS of “too much money” onto the “too few goods” that we already had.

Two democrat senators, who should have statues commemorating this, opposed this and forced it down to one trillion dollars. Still it was too much, and sparked off the inflation we observed. Sure, the pandemic was a bad deal (more for Trump than Biden), but Biden exacerbated things by dumping money on a supply chain fire.
