Why hasn’t news of John Bolton made it here?
It’s all over the news that he apparently has information to add and will only appear if there is a subpoena. So the court will rule whether he has to appear. This will be interesting.

The Stache “invited” Schiff to go have sex with himself until and unless he gets a subpoena.

Nothing to say unless a court ruled differently or a subpoena is issued.

Well it sounds like if he does testify, then there could be some sparks flying.

Bolton will say whatever he's told to so long as he's promised a war or two.

This is old news. WaPo retreaded this news yesterday like you are as a gotcha; and it was a dud. They are moving on.

It has been said that someone that testified heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend, who, heard it from another Bolton could have been concerned about the corruption in Ukraine and Rudy exposing it. Also someone heard it from a friend, who, heard it from another that maybe Bolton didn't like Trump's foreign policy

Does he want an excuse to testify
or does he want to run the clock out in court?

I think he wants to testify. He just doesn’t want to get jailed for doing so.

I think he’s concerned about Executive Privilege.

I think if the court rules that he can testify and sides with Legislative Branch vs. Executive Branch concerning his testimony, then he’ll do it.

Does he have recorded audio or video of Trump saying "Ya know what, I really did it to get some dirt on Biden for my reelection campaign"??

If not, who gives a shite.

Give him the chance. I would love to see the look on Schiff's face when he does. Do the same rules apply to a HOSTILE witness in an impeachment hearing as they do in a regular court?

The articles linked above show that Bolton clearly was uncomfortable with Sondland and Mulvaney telling the Ukraine official that the investigation was a prerequisite for a meeting with Trump.

I admit. I am a John Bolton fan. I celebrate the man's entire catalog.

I guess the POTUS shouldn't have a problem meeting with all the corrupt leaders of other countries. No need to vet them in any way. I mean "how are you doing on the corruption issue you were having Mr. President?" shouldn't be a question any President should ask. Especially when you are about to fork over 4 Bil in military aid.

Yet more "uncomfortable" feelings, I get it. More little pieces of the most far flung circumstantial case probably ever attempted to be put together.

Trump's intent is all that counts, and the only actual evidence as of now of his personal intent, what was in his mind, is his words. And there's nothing in his words that shows intent of personal gain via political dirt for use in reelection. Because there are completely legitimate reasons to put conditions on U.S. aid. Happens all the time.

There's still no evidence of his intent being corrupt as opposed to the legitimate purposes he stated.

Loved that album back in the day.

Bolton does not have to testify. He can share what he knows with someone else who can then pass it along to another who can then appear before the schiff inquiry.

Bet there were some nazis from WWII who wish they had that same privilege at Nuremberg.

Why don't we just stop giving anyone money. No more aid for anyone.
