Got it. I still think Obamacare, or any government intrusion in healthcare, is a good thing. Like someone said earlier, if they left it in the hands of the private markets it would be cheaper overall.

Why does the richest country in the world unable to create a national Healthcare system, like all other countries do?

But, nobody flinches when private money can build a 400 million dollar ballroom that you will never be in, or spend billions to elect politicians year in year out. Its just money at that point.

Oh, and whatever military budget is is non negotiable, but we don't see or care about that?

Is there any reason you believe this? Can you name a country that spends less per capita on Healthcare by using the "free market"?

We are literally the most expensive and also the most capitalistic system in the world.

They like to say it got people on insurance.
But I purchased insurance in 2010 because if not it was a $500 fine.

The insurance mandate was a critical piece to keep cost down by spreading the risk over a larger group. When the republicans repealed the individual mandate, one of the primary cost control forces was eliminated.

The individual mandate was a Heritage Foundation proposal. The very conservative Heritage Foundation proposed the universal individual mandate as a means of lowering health insurance costs by reducing the number of uninsured people. It was adopted in Republican, Mitt Romney's insurance plan, and then made a part of the ACA.

The repeal of the individual mandate by republicans was an intentional sabotage to drive costs up to try to paint the health law as inadequate. As a sabotage, it succeeded.

Republicans have no interest in actually making healthcare more affordable.

At this point we should blame John McCain.

Unfortunately, he was too weak to do the right thing.

The reality is it hasn’t because getting rid of it means getting rid of pre-existing condition coverage.

This is not how insurance works. What a horrible failure the ACA is.

Can you name a country that spends more per capita on defense than the US?

But, NOBODY here ever cares that there is no audit, ever or questions the spending.

MAGA is so obsessed if someone gets something and they feel slighted that they don't get.

Everyone needs health care at some point.
You also don't care that the CEO of health care systems make millions off of sick people.

And? You don’t think CEOs should be highly compensated?

You think there should be a cap? Or should the board of directors have the power to set it?

And yet the Democrats are now pretending that Obamacare is the Republicans’ fault.

Well, it is. These meanie, milk toast repubs wouldn't allow dems to have full blown single payer socialized medicine.
They only allowed half asses socialized medicine.

There should be reasonable compensation for them and reasonable competition between them.
