What could possibly go wrong.

A prominent U.K. green energy group took over a firm dedicated to fracking for natural gas, vowing to halt all fossil fuel production and cancel further development, The Guardian reported.

The North Yorkshire-based firm Third Energy, which has been a major producer of natural gas in the U.K for decades, was acquired by Wolfland Group, a company that develops renewable energy solutions across the nation, The Guardian reported. Third Energy will now be led by Wolfland director Steve Mason, a prominent anti-fracking activist.

“The current energy crisis has shown that we must be energy independent as a nation and that fossil fuels need to be urgently replaced by clean renewable energy supplies, which will lead to cheaper energy and help us tackle climate change,” Mason said, according to The Guardian.

I bet the Russians are happy. UK might be making some emergency purchases soon.

So then why even buy a natural gas company? Seems utterly pointless. Just start a new company.

How many people will die when the "renewable" fantasy can't deliver heat in some artic cold snap before the fire up the coal plants.

if you live in cold climates and don't know how to take care of yourself w/o electricity then you have no business being or living there.

Or, and this is only my opinion, you could not try to take away electricity by taking out fossil fuels.

The point was to shut down gas production. It's happening on a larger scale, too -

Let’s get this straight.

Green stupid buys a fracking Company to generate zero business. Seller takes millions and starts the same business with new equipment.

Green goes bust, bankrupts

New company laughs to the bank.
