My sources are telling me that the Trump family are now in private negotiations to purchase Spirit Airlines. Trump airlines?

Wasn't this already a thing?

I'm ready for tickets to increase. Airports are starting to feel like bus terminals.

How are blk people supposed to fly now
I had a Ketanji sit next to me on an American Airlines flight, and she got mad that our arms were touching. Chick got a middle seat and thought she was going to be able to control the row.
I just ignored her and kept doing exactly what I had been doing the entire flight: watching movies on my phone. Must not have been her first rodeo because she didn't call the stewardess. I was expecting to end up on YouTube.

quote:Just mentioned that in the other thread. Maybe Larry Ellison & son can purchase both since they seem to be immune to Anti-trust laws.
It was stupid of the Biden Justice department to block the merger between JetBlue and Spirit.

I wish this would happen to GM. It needs to.
I’ve always been a Toyota driver (thank god) but recently my work got brand new decked out Chevy 1/2 tons. Jesus who actually buys this crap?? Not even 25,000 miles and everything rattles. The engine knocks like a diesel and burns a quart of oil almost monthly. These were brand new when we bought them. I’ve always heard GMC’s were better built trucks but they better be WAY better built or I can see why GM needs a buy out every few years

Good riddance....
Flying has become a miserable experience. Hopefully it becomes more civilized again as capacity is reduced and 45 dollar flights are gone. Hopefully Frontier is next and the major's continue reducing flights.
This, and the Saudi's declaring force majeure to stop funding LIV.
Silver lining to these high fuel prices.

Who is getting the SWA ORD gates next month?
SWA is MDW, but if you are asking about Spirit - that’s a great question l, and I have no idea.

I may be too optimistic here, but I'm hoping this actually puts a little downward pressure on ticket prices from the "good" airlines.
Why would less competition (supply) create downward pressure on pricing?

quote:Yes, MDW is their main CHI hub. SWA has had ORD gates the last 5 or so yrs. They are out of ORD early next month. Perhaps the drama being discussed between UA and AA helped pushed them out. So wondering which of those 2 are getting the SWA-ORD gates next month.
