I don't think the rules protect us anymore.
Best case scenario, the courts won't come in to save you until well after the damage is done, and when you've already lost everything.
The Covid overreach is a good example of how governors are acting by fiat, and getting away with it. And the election litigation shows us how corrupted the courts have become. The President of the United States lost legal representation, because of political pressure from the the permanent state. And when facing serious constitutional issues, the ducked, and chose not to take a side.

You putz , that same governor has been caught multiple times defying his own order . So your solution is to shut down a thriving business that had zero cases of the Covid Flu traced back to them . His other option was of course lose his entire business, have no ability to pay his own bills . Maybe not able to feed his loved ones . Sounds like you could run as a Democrat governor
