The Washington Post just got illegally leaked grand jury testimony, to drive a political agenda, over Mickey Mouse stuff. Republicans are too stupid to ever put these things in perspective. The left will use any triviality to undermine a Republican. History repeats itself.

Trump WILL resign when the flame gets sufficiently hot. Nixon's infractions seem trivial compared to the turpitude of Trump. The Magnificent One is on borrowed time.

You'll need to kill him if you want him out...

Obama's fastnfurious was far worse than any offense committed by any President since Lincoln or even Jackson

You are a special kind of dumb or special kind of delusional.

You could replace Trump's name with Obama's name and have a point. Obama and co committed some to the most heinous corruption in the history of our government.

Compared to what Johnson did, Nixon was a saint.

If Watergate was a drunk and disorderly....Russia is a ticket for an expired inspection sticker.

Good analogy

But Watergate was more like a not showing up to pay a parking ticket on the scheduled date.

Section 3: Presidential responsibilities

He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States."

If you got a book about the Watergate break in from 10 years ago, you won't see it. But it has since been found that Nixon actually ordered the Watergate break-in.

Did you just miss that, or are you so ill-grounded in morals that you don't care?

Trumps ego and child-like self-awareness will never allow him to resign.

Never

Actually, it has now been proven, with the discovery of HR Haldeman's notes, that Nixon committed a treasonous act prior to getting elected in 1968. What he did was far worse than collusion. He directed his aids to do what they could to scuttle the Viet Nam Peace talks that were ongoing during LBJ's last year in office.

During a phone call on the night of Oct. 22, 1968, Richard M. Nixon told his closest aide (and future chief of staff) H.R. Haldeman to "monkey wrench" President Lyndon B. Johnson's efforts to begin peace negotiations over the Vietnam War. Nixon long denied giving such an order, but Haldeman's notes, which were quietly made public in 2007 and were recently discovered by the historian Jack Farrell, prove he was lying.
