there is no way he took this case without getting some percentage of the payout

I’m going to say under.
I’ll say $1.5 million aggregate from all defendants.
Who knows. With the ridiculous and uncinstitutional standard the trash scotus set, the scum in the press probably feels invincible

I don’t know anything about the kid’s academic trajectory but a good attorney could argue that in the current political environment on college campuses, his being falsely smeared and falsely labeled by WaPo could easily limit his ability for acceptance to colleges and universities.
A good attorney could use David Hogg as an example of the effect of media attention re a student that had their ambitions affected by the media spotlight.
David Hogg has no qualifications to go to Harvard but was offered a scholarship based on his political stances and media perception.
The same media that can send a kid with no business going to Harvard to Harvard has been completely detrimental to any secondary education prospects that Sandman might have.

Hate the WaPo and I hate everyone for how they treated the kids. So I ask this question just wanting specifics so I can discuss/bash thexWaPo... did they write an editorial or something? Did they have multiple articles? What did they do differently than other news outlets? (I’d love for the other outlets to be crushed too)

I suggest anyone with a reddit account get to this thread and post. I’ve never seen a more obvious example of paid posters trying to downplay a story/distract/red herring

Then he’ll have to beat a bunch of summary judgments.
I'd imagine he has done that before

Neither. There will be an NDA so we’ll never know.

Can we get a full list of the defendants?

Noted and bookmarked. Should make for good shite talking down the road regardless

If it was a political rally that the kids were part of, then it means that the catholic school and catholic archdiocese will lose their tax except status for sponsoring this.
There could not conceivably be a more untrue statement than this.

Right now it's just WaPo, but the list to whom Sandmann's lawyers sent demand letters is long (dozens of potential Defendants). There was a thread that listed them.

Under but only because Juries are made up of people who typically aren't smart enough to get out of Jury duty and who typically vote for democrats.
Regardless the Post isn't the only one who will have to pay.
The lawyers will wind up with 50%+ of his settlements
He will still end up with around 1 or 2 mil by the time all of the lawsuits are done and the attorneys milk it.
Maybe just maybe the left will at least learn a lesson

Explain how Hogg wasn't Harvard material.
Do you have access to his private education GPA and ACT/SAT scores?
How do you know he didn't meet their criteria?

Please stop dodging my question and explain your legal background. Specifically - your knowledge of discovery and the elements needed to prove Sandmann’s claims.
