I care as much about the Super Bowl this year as I care about the former USFL soon to be XFL Washington Generals and Birmingham Bandits game!

Then patriots will win or given the game and the eagles fans will riot.

Not surprising. The NFL has doubled down on its endorsement of leftist politics.

The only question left is what you as an individual are going to do about it.

Looks like OP left out part of the story
According to an NFL spokesman it was left out not outright rejected because the group couldn’t give them answers in time to meet production deadline

“We looked to work with the organization and asked it to consider other options such as ‘Please Honor our Veterans,’” McCarthy added. “They chose not to and we asked it to consider using ‘Please Stand for Our Veterans.’ Production was delayed as we awaited an answer. As the program was going to production, the organization asked about including a hashtag” — as in #PleaseStand — “and was informed that approval would not be provided in time and was asked to approve the ad without the hashtag. The organization did not respond and the program ultimately went into production to meet deadlines.”

This according to the story written up on Sports Illustrated.

Smart business move, nothing more and nothing less. Which has really been their motivation this entire time.

Why would they want to bring more attention to this controversy? Nobody, on either side, wants to talk about it anymore. They’ve all stopped listening.

How many Super Bowl paper programs have you flipped through to come to the conclusion that that statement was laughable?

This charity also is rated as one of the worst when it comes to actually giving it's money to those who are supposed to be getting it. Just a shitty corrupt organization trying to get their name in the news

Ummm... anyone remember the commercial from LAST YEAR that showed the Mexican immigrant trying to illegally cross the border, but was dismayed at the sight of (what can only be interpreted as) Trump’s Wall?

Unless I’m mistaken, you didn’t see it either.

What you saw was a 90 second teaser which gave you a link to a longer video that had what you just described.

Original version was axed for being too political.
