That’s a nice patch of river land to move to so they can get out of the tax hell hole of Baton Rouge that doesn’t want them anyway.

Exxon-Mobil is not in BR. It is unincorporated.

The St George School District won’t try to rape them like BR did.

I wonder if Central, Zachary and Baker also get a cut of their property taxes, and sales taxes; or do they all go to the EBRSS?

St George can annex them where they are. BR went out of its way to annex the Mall and LSU and Siegen Marketplace without annexing any of surrounding area

Has to be physically adjacent/contiguous.

That's why City of BR used: interstate, railroad tracks and drainage canals to purloin businesses while avoiding neighborhoods.

Why would you want to put a chemical plant in St George? That land you're referencing is being developed into very nice neighborhoods.

1) Do you even live in STG?
2) Exxon is in an unincorporated section of the parish.
3) As a resident, I don’t want Exxon in my backyard.

Does anyone know how much it cost to build a chemical plant/ refinery? That isn't going to happen!
