No, they've been in charge since Nancy took over, after the 2018 election. The 2020 election changed nothing, save for narrowing the margin of power the Dems had over the GOP ( another quirk in the election too, btw. )

It's the House and the Senate via The Capitol Police Board comprised of the Senate and House Sergeants at Arms, the Architect of the Capitol, and the chief of the Capitol Police.

We need the name of the person that gave the order to stand down. WHY was the order given and what was the process that went into making the decision?
