Polling hypes Dems for months to create narratives and suppress Republican enthusiasm then October rolls around and polls actually kind of try so they can say they were close after the election.

It depends on how close we are to the elections. The further from the election, they can weaponize the polls. They always trend to telling the truth nearer to the elections so that they appear to be accurate.
