Then why, after all these years in the Senate have you allowed the US to be taken advantage of by predatory tariffs from other "partnering" countries?

Cant find concrete numbers.

Its okay, we opened more restaurants and tapas bars for people to work @ or below minimum wage.

We've created a new upper middle class that is unrivaled. New professional opportuniities that weren't available when your "America was great."

The only people held back are those who put in zero effort, and I dont want govt to save them.

I didnt listen.

But previously he said tariffs should be zero.

But that doesn't work for us when other countries tariff us.

Its almost like he doesnt know countries can do their own thing.

Hed be a terrible president.

Someone could fire missiles at us and he would say. Well im anti war so we wont do anything. Just sit back and take it.

That's 15% of the country.

Maybe if we all lived in commie alaska and had ubi, this would be sustainable, but it's not.

Why is it o.k. for other countries to tariff us but bad if we do it to them?

Which was created over the past 30 years.

Capable people are still moving up, we dont need to save those who refuse.

Energy would be much better spent retraining these baws instead of pushing more inefficient industry

Honest question: Its estimated we need 500k more construction workers through 2025, why arent your vaunted factory workers and coal miners jumping on board.

I respect Rand Paul. When NBC was the media allowing him to whine, maybe he should have been aloof enough to realize he was being used regardless of the merit of his stance.

I used to like Rand Paul. But no longer! Hes a joke. Trump and his America First ideas are the best chance America has to retaining our dominance.
Hes been in office for fricking 20 years and has done nothing meaningful.
I wonder what his stock portfolio looks like

In the interview I saw on FoxBiz he even said if we get good agreements with our main partners in the next month that would be great.

Then immediately went into how all tariffs are bad.

He has not a clue when it comes to negotiations. It was ridiculous seeing him go from this would be great to why this is terrible in 5 seconds.

Oh no. Status Quo is being threatened. US must accept the good tariffs of other countries and end all it's own evil tariffs.

They've all sold us out and, they love the status quo.

I'm glad something different is being tried/done.
