The CBS News 2018 Battleground Tracker Poll conducted by YouGov June 21-22 during the midst of the controversy over migrant families and unaccompanied children flooding the southern border shows a shift toward President Trump’s views since a March CBS poll by SSRSshowed 60 percent opposed a wall.

Now 51 percent support a wall being built

Not only that.....

A total of 63 percent either want the migrant families deported or detained.

Only 21% want it the Obama way

Law and order at our border and legal immigration is a popular position. It’s common sense. I don’t know why anyone would vote for Democrats who obviously support chaos at our border, MS13 and crime.

Notice how every graphic on that CBS poll were designed to bury the lede.

There wasn’t a single graphic made regarding any of the OP’s points.

That’s why we call them the lying Globalist press, or the #lugenpresse

The kids weren't crying when they were with their parents in Meheko.

Why not make the families stay in Mexico?

Kids not crying = problem solved.

I’m gonna go ahead and assume that the majority of the nation felt the way Trump does about immigration for a long time.

Did they think Trump would take this immigration stance back in 2016 if he didn’t know there was a gap between the constituents and the leadership of both parties?

If Democrats want to win in 2020, they need to stop underestimating this man.

Yep....

The left extremist policies are just that extreme. No logic in it.

He backs them into extreme and hypocritical stances on a daily basis.

The man sucks the air out of everything. Without a strong leader, the Democratic Party will not be a cohesive unit.

Even if they win a few elections here and there, a huge risk exists in that the Republican Party is evolving more towards the popular stance that is a trend now.

If I were them, I’d run Sanders in 2020 knowing that he would lose. It would force others in the Party to adopt some populist stances and keep them semi-focused.

The problem is nobody trusts them anymore.

You take people running as a moderate in their party and they are still extreme and every day people don't believe they will be moderate when in office
