I think the drones that are being seen are a distraction from other aircraft or drones. That way anything seen in the sky are “car sized drones” instead of whatever else is in the sky.
It’s weird all the disclosures and govt hearings about UFO/UAP then this stuff happens.

Well, a sheriff was saying that they are capable evading other drones. but what if their reaction time isn't sufficient to evade an oncoming high speed commercial airliner?
Some of these things have an 8 foot wingspan. Definitely big enough to be hit by a commercial jet. Or be affected by jet wash from one.
They may also be required for whatever sensory apparatus the drones have onboard.

This is true. As a computer tech, I'll offer in that it's easy to verify as true.
It's possible to shield that heat, but it's still going to bleed out to other areas of insides.
Cooling systems could be installed. BUT, that's going to require more battery. Which will create more heat. And shorten active use time, of the device.

It could be used as a cooler running system inside the machines, as well as data delivery, internally.
AFAIK it wouldn't be entirely a fiber optic system. But then I don't have govt manuals and tech at hand, either.
I wonder if this might also make them immune to some of the drone scrambling weapons the military has.

Doesn’t matter the heat signature as it can be masked pretty easily.
