All that matters is that TRUMP wins the primary, anything after that is explained away by FRAUD!

If you didn't click it, how do you know it is trash? Hmmm. Sounds like you're just lazy. Essentially, desantis is even FURTHER behind Trump.

Because thats how EVs are handed out. Look at the last few candidates from both parties and tell me what favorability meant to winning their noms

Biden 54.4% unfavorable
Trump 53.8%
Hillary Clinton 56%
Trump 55%
Romney 52%
Obama 45%
McCain 45%
Obama 41%

Which is it?

It would help...if you ever fricking linked your data sources.

Either way, it tracks that Biden's are lower than Trump, and Trump's are lower than Clinton...if you gave a shite about winning the general.

You probably do, but you're a retard, so that doesn't really mean anything.

All you have to do is monitor Trump and the cult’s behavior to know this race is much closer than they want to pretend it is.

I'll go ahead and say this poll is questionable since it shows, at one time, with Desantis with almost a 2:1 advantage over Trump.

Nevertheless, it shows a trend of Desantis losing 36 POINTS to Trump since January.

If it wasn't close at all, Team Trump wouldn't be still relentlessly attacking Ron with increasingly dishonest and unhinged things.

They would be putting out Olive Branches to try and form coalitions.

There will be no olive branches while Desantis is still in the race.

And, that's why Trump is attacking Desantis. He's trying to get him out. The longer this goes, the more it harms him in the general.

Sorry dude. It's not close right now. Is it possible things change? Sure. But, you are seeing a lot of commentary from a lot of different sources that are acknowledging that Desantis can't win barring something crazy.

Even the articles that suggest Desantis is a better candidate in the general are defacto stating Desantis can't win the primary.

Give us an example of this “commentary” that DeSantis can’t win.

What’s Desantis next move post presidential election? Paid contributor to CNN?

Forget this latest poll showing a close head to head race, aren’t you seeing all this “commentary” from “a lot of different sources” saying DeSantis can’t win?!

Kudos for quadrupling down on DeSantis’s polling numbers and the net effect of him losing support after people learn more about him.

By the time his public PR campaign is over he will be hard pressed to get elected as a dog catcher in the future.

If he doesn’t win, he’ll still be a 45 year old twice elected successful governor of Florida who served his country well with a beautiful wife and young kids.

He won’t be grifting off of stolen election lies, he won’t be stepping into indictment traps. He won’t be fricking around on social media while golfing in between. He’ll continue working to advance competent conservatism, not trying to destroy it.

He reminds me a lot of that Indian (dot) Governor that Louisiana had a few years back.

understand you have to have hope, but you're making yourself feel better at the moment.

They just cut 33% of their staff because they overspent.
RDS campaign firings
quote:
The expanded cuts are the latest sign that the Florida governor’s team is pivoting to a slim-down operation amid concerns over their finances. The campaign announced it had raised $20 million during the second quarter of this year. But it had spent a good chunk of that money. Much of the sum it raised, moreover, came from donors who had given the maximum amount and could not give again.

Which leads me to my next point...Trump gets 82% of donations from small donors - IE he's a populist that has vast support from small donors. You may not think this is a good thing, but in fact it is. It means his support is broad and will LAST throughout the primary and GE because the max donation limit will not be reach by 82% of his support for quite a while.

Meanwhile, Ron has less small donor support than Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, and even Will Hurd??? who? MOST of Ron's donors have MAXXED out their support, and cannot re-up. It also shows he's the establishment's candidate..which is hurting his populism as well.

The bottom line is, while he's an impressive governer, governor popularity in their own state doesn't translate to popularity in a GE historically. It's a toss up, and in this case..people just don't like the guy.

Very well put! This should put oh Ham Bone in his place
