We laugh a bit, but this is the sort of thing which could have made the Russian Collusion Hoax seem even more real.

Think about it for a second, an audio snippet "leaked" with Don, Don Jr. and Putin talking about how to mask monetary payments from Russia to the Trump campaign. How do you even defend yourself from that? How do you prove something is a deepfake?

And then what happens when "deepfake" becomes the excuse du jour? Suddenly, legit things being discovered are played off as "deepfake" and there's no real way to discern the truth.

It becomes the ultimate in smoke and mirrors.

Joe Buck / Aikman Hiroshima script is hilarious ("brought to you by the Goodyear blimp").... but not close enough to their voice/syntax.

I only listened to the Shapiro clip. It was pretty funny. Where it went off the rails was when the script started using words that Shapiro would not use.
