Olive Garden is owned by Darden, an $8Billion company, the largest restaurant company in the world, with the world's largest financial safety net and world's largest advertising budget. The pandemic was devastating to small businesses especially. This is a fact

This country also told us to wear masks, stay 6 feet apart, and take an experimental vaccine. Good thing the country didn't tell us to suck a dick.

What does it say, exactly, that I retired in my 30s and never need to stop and grab milk or bread?

Or maybe it was a local restaurant and didn't have a corporate entity to ride out a long shur down?

We still have local restaurants and grocery delivery where I live.

I’d almost bet the last inch of my penis that your friend’s place where appetites go to die has a literal corporate entity, though I’m not sure that means what you think it means.

But I need that inch man.

Making the aisles one way

I almost got ticketed by the Kroger police for a lane violation. Only a Karen saw me and promptly delivered a stern lecture. I replied only with a nonverbal gesture which implied she was number 1.

Made it out alive. Barely.

No one is disputing that.

But their breadsticks not tasting like an hours old shart helps.

Or not to suck a dick. Some of you heroes would've been Gaggling on dudes in front of the milk and bread.

Meh

The OP started with grocery stores, and you’ve deflected when asked about other gov mandated shutdowns. What private businesses would you object to the gov shutting down?

You want me to list them all?

Generally, I always say the government should mind their own business.

What about masks, which they knew didn’t work, from the beginning

Or even a vaccine for a rapidly mutating respiratory virus, you can’t make this up….

Maybe a few for reference, considering you’re ok with the gov mandating a human can’t go to the grocery store unless he/she/they work for a delivery service?

And this is why people get ignored.

This isn't something I've ever said or even implied.

Well, that isn’t true. Did this conversation, in this very thread, not happen?

quote:

JBird
“Only trailer trash go to grocery stores?”

DisplacedBuckeye
“Unless you're going for your husband and kids, yes. Even then, I don't know why anyone is still going to the grocery store in 2023.”

JBird
“How about 3 years ago?”

DisplacedBuckeye
“Same thing. Wives and delivery services aren't three years old.”

So, again, why does a private company that you approve of have more rights compared those in which you don’t?

Nowhere in that conversation did I say what you claimed I said.

If you want to have a discussion, you're going to need to stop making shite up.
