1) They signed Barrack and Moochelle, who I drop off at the pool every morning around 10:30 AM, to a multi-million dollar deal to write, produce and direct a series about progressive causes in this country and how to further their cause(s).
2) Because they named corrupt farleftwingnutjob socialist progressive Susan Rice to their board of directors with the intention of giving the progressive agenda an even bigger platform from which to brainwash the masses.
... and yeah, we cancelled our long time Netflix account today and followed with a hand written letter (cc'd to several key board members and executives) with our reason for cancelling.
My wife and I have also committed to the #DumpNetflix cause on Twitter. Which means we shall tweet and retweet the hastag for eternity if that's what it takes to persuade Netflix to comprehend and then rethink the insult they have perpetrated against millions of their loyal customers.
This is no joke. It has to be stopped.

once other outlets like Disney have their streaming up, its very likely that one day we look back and see this as Netflix at its peak, but at the moment they cant even find enough projects to spend all their money on.

I'm glad my ridiculousness is isolated to me. So at least people can more easily make fun of it in front of me to my wife. If what you're saying is true, I bet a lot of the people you know make fun of, or can't stand, the snowflake couple that annoyingly overreacts to anything even slightly political and let's everyone know about it.

We have been long time supporters and shareholders in a various sleeve or two ... and they betrayed the frick out of us with all of this bullshite.
That makes it personal. We knew better, and chose not-to, invest or patronize Disney or NBC, etc. But Netflix has done some back door bullshite with this one ... so there are going to be consequences. Hell, I'm honestly thinking of launching a new anti-Netflix site at this point just to, hopefully, relentlessly pound them from every angle. Because they think this shite is going to blow-over ... but it's just beginning.
Now, if they name a Conservative to their Board of Directors and give a Conservative millions to produce and direct a series geared towards Conservatives ... then that'll change things. That's yin and yang, that's balance. Until then ...

Which of their shows really bother you? My favorite show that they do, Peeky Blinders, has very little in the way of political slant as far as I can see. Maybe I'm wrong.

Oh hell, we love Peaky Blinders, reruns of The Last Kingdom, Penny Dreadful, Stranger Things, etc., etc., etc.
We had the biggest account you could get, two actually with five users on each account that we were paying for ... for my wife and I, my brother-in-law, my Son and one of my daughters, my mother, my wife's mother, my great aunt ... this is a sacrifice for us because we loved their service and so much of their original programming.
But this was important to us because we have principles which they violated. We do not support Obama causes .... period. And they made this about Obama - a man who did, and will continue to do, incredible damage to our country. And they did this without offering any balance, without adding weight to the other side of the scale.
That's their right ... it's also ours to retaliate in the only way we may do so.
We've ordered or broker to take steps on Monday and we've cancelled subscriptions and will seek to harass them on social media with the hopes of changing some minds.
#frickNetflix and #frickObama and his people.
Yeah, the more we've learned these past couple of days, the more we see Netflix just shitting in our faces now that they've made it past their start-up phase. frick'em.
