Nah, they are quiet but still there. Most are actually in working fields and not in fields where they suck government funds up and write papers.

The movie sucked. I couldn’t finish it. I get that it was satire, but it was just done bad. With the cast I figured, this has to at least be ok. It wasn’t.

What can they do? Most of the stuff that is being written and studied isn't factually incorrect, its how its being portrayed in the media and how course corrections are being applied by our leaders that is the issue. Also they are incentivized to write something that will garner attention and "We need to recycle more and start looking for energy alternatives" doesn't have the juice that "We have to go electric now or the world blows up in 15 years"
