My son brought this up a couple days ago, he apparently listens to Candice.

You didn't address any of the underlying questions that Gaetz was posing.
Erase CK from the framing and the questions remain and nothing about asking those questions makes him or anyone else immoral or amoral.
What's immoral is being told you're anti-Semitic if you dare to ask why children are being starved and civilians forced to remain in war zone areas by the Israeli government.
What's immoral is being told you're anti-Semitic if you ask how its possible in a nation the size of New Jersey for no military response to occur for 6 hours. They knew an attack was underway instantly, Israel is a police state monitored by checkpoints, cameras and drones 24/7 and there were military units hours if not minutes away that could've been deployed.
I'm not anti-Semitic. I've never wished ill on any Jewish man outside of Jeffrey Epstein who wasn't even Israeli. I just don't want AIPAC running congress, setting US domestic or foreign policy and I sure don't want to be fighting their wars for them while we shovel foreign aid to them for zero tangible benefit to the US.

The whole video talks about how we are conditioned to never speak an ill word against Israel, because whoever does will be labeled antisemitic. That shuts the argument down right there. There is not further discussion as to the validity of the statement. It’s done.
No nation is perfect. But, they have conditioned us to never speak out against them. It’s not normal.
Could this have had anything to do with Charlie’s assassination? I don’t know, but, over the last five years , I’ve learned that the world is a much darker, evil place than I ever thought possible.

Israel wasn't funding Hamas, they were allowing funds from Qatar to get into Gaza as a means to appease the Palestinians.
Regarding Kirk, the comments everyone keeps citing as him "turning on Israel" are taken from a Patrick Bet David podcast in October of 2023, very shortly after 10/7.
the ethnic cleansing comments are taken totally out of context. he said Israel will be accused of ethnic cleansing when they go apeshit in Gaza.

These were Charlie's words on the matter. I don't think Matt Gaetz misrepresented them. I'm sure if Matt did misrepresent Charlie's words it's not intentional and he would be the first to correct himself.

There were no comments directly from Matt in that tweet. It was a video. The only part of the video with CK in it was the first 30 seconds and last 10 seconds.
