Gateway pundit? Yeah. Again, the false negatives were openly disclosed on the segment.

Stop taking headlines at face value.

And he openly talked about it on the same segment the selective quote from the article was pulled from. So weird you didn't read the article or the OP and come away with that knowledge...

Everything the MSM reports is implied or half-truths. Sometimes I wonder if they either have a legal team review their narratives or write them outright. Same goes for their respective local affiliates.

I don't but OK. When they mislead, they mislead. Sorry you don't want to call it out.

The "false negatives" were NOT openly disclosed. The doctor said with authority that he "came down with #COVID19." Perhaps it's you who should stop taking things at face value?

Here's the full segment

Openly disclosed a little under halfway through. Same interview as the "if this can happen to me it can happen to any one" quote.

Like I said, stop taking things at face value and do your homework.

Remember, NBC is the same network who used explosives to 'prove' Chevy/GMC trucks were dangerous.

I've done mine. Had you read his tweet on NBC's page you would see where he wrote that he definitively had it when he didn't.

If you had done your homework, you'd see above where one poster accurately described the news as being "staged," of which this is an example.

You just said they didn't openly disclose it and I proved that false. He tweeted he had it because he exhibited symptoms and that was the best guess even with the negative results (which, again, they openly disclosed in the segment).

They never hid the negative results and he voluntarily discloses a month later that he tested negative for the antibodies; yet, here we are reading an article that insinuates that NBC and this doctor tried to pull the wool over our eyes. You're not calling fake news over that? Color me fricking surprised.

I cited the NBC News source from May when the story came out where he wrote that he had it with certainty.
Now they're coming out with the false negatives?

It's the intentional misdirection of NBC. Unless you're disputing my link from May? Where they did NOT say he had false negatives, but did say that the good doctor DID have this virus. Which we all know now, he did not.

The gateway pundit included a quote from the same interview, which is why I'm focused on the Today segment. The quote is also in the OP. Did

You want to talk about deception and misdirection? Why is there no mention in the article that NBC interviewed him about the negative results during the same segment? They clearly watched the interview. Why do you think the gateway pundit left that part out?

Read this thread and tell me that's not an intentional campaign to mislead.

I'm focused on the same source the article honed in on, but I'm focused on the wrong thing?

While simultaneously giving them a pass for misleading, but OK.

It's time people recognize that "news sources" like NBC have a political agenda in their selection of stories as well as how they're presented.

Yeah, that's fine. There are better examples than this and it can be done without misleading, though.
