I think that Mr. Sawyer is speaking from emotion rather than with rationality.

The most likely scenario is that the US electorate will accept what is dished out to them by the Globalist Ruling Class, and, they will accept it without some kind of violent outburst.

Authoritarianism will come in 100 years or so because the indoctrinated young will one day vote for it of their own free will. And if they don't, well. The case of Trump demonstrates that it's not difficult to correct the error when We the People vote for an Outsider Reformer.

I think that we can all look forward to our taxes gradually going up to at least half of what we earn for everyone who works for a living. Might take ten years for it to play out, but, once they impose a Federal Sales Tax and a Global Warming International Treaty Tax, we are going to be fleeced.

I think the Navy Seal who said this is dumb for assuming that Trump is innocent before the investigation concludes.

While I have no doubt our government is corrupt as shite and they would like nothing more than a coup to remove Trump. But I also don't think Trump is squeaky clean either.

I hope if the shite hits the fan that people will keep in mind that it is not everyday Americans that would be attempting to overthrow Trump, it is the establishment in Washington that (presumably) would be falsifying evidence against Trump.

In a nutshell, I'd hate to see everyday Americans getting dragged into a civil war when it is the ones in Washington who are causing all the problems.

Well, it's obvious that the "error" is a subjective (Ideological) assessment; and that any overturned Election would essentially prove that it is very difficult to "correct the error".

I think that the involvement of the Military - when they are Constitutionally-limited in their capacity to employ their arms on National soil - makes the Military a moot issue. Not even the Secretary of Defense would give the order to pull that trigger.

Now what former Military does - people who have KILLED as a daily and patriotic task - is another story. What Sawyer has done is to INTRODUCE the Idea of armed revolt if Meuller recommends Impeachment for Trump for _________....but ignores overt and on the Record obvious criminal acts by Hillary, Comey, Lynch, et al. What that would say to all Patriots (Trump Nation) is that this action is indeed a 'coup'...soft, political version. But an abuse of the Equal Justice Constitutional principle, and a usurpation and nullification of Electoral process as well. And...just what/where do we go from there?

It is the introduction of this Idea - a 'red line' of sorts - and one when contemplated by many, hard men who have and will shed blood for Principle are forced to contemplate and take sides because of the seriousness of the entire issue.

It is easy to see the passion, as exemplified by the Posts in this thread.

Book it...a lot of serious people with guns, who have killed other people in the line of their patriotic duty, and thinking about this 'Idea' right now. And it won't be going away...unless or until Meuller's Investigation is determined to be fair...or another 'Martha Stewart' con job which slams a relatively innocent individual for a 'process crime'...but ignores the FACT that Congressional Elites could Inside Trade on a whim.

It's first up to Meuller...and if he goes bad on some petty bs...it then is up to Trump to either fold...or call. And mind you, 'folding' would be perceived as cowardly, and opening the Nation to corrupt Deep State tyranny.

Debate pissing games aside...only time will tell.

I doubt Trump is squeaky clean -- no billionaire likely is. All of them have broken some tax law or financial regulation somewhere along the line. Guaranteed.

It was Hillary and the media's job to "vet" Trump's past. They found nothing of any significance other than some locker room talk. If there was anything of any significance there, they would have found it, that I can tell you.

They had over a year to uncover something. After he is president is not the time to go on these expeditions. It's bullshite and I think even most Democrats know it.

Let me see if I've got this straight...

1. "Sawman" threatens current and former military will rise up and start murdering peopole if Trump is removed from office. We'll assume for sake of argument, as most here are, that impeachment is grounds for this upheaval.

2. The process of impeachment is laid out in the Constitution, and by definition would be carried out by our duly elected senators and representatives.

So...tell me again which side is threatening a coup here?

Well one side has 8 trillion rounds of ammunition and the other side doesn't know which bathroom to use. Should be a short conflict.
