The analysis indicated that people who had never had the infection and received a vaccine in January or February of 2021 were up to 13 times more likely to contract the virus than people who had already had the infection.

Does receiving the monoclonal antibodies treatment affect the effectiveness of natural immunity? Would I have been better off not taking the treatment as far as natural immunity goes?

No shite.
Immune response to entire virus beats response to one part.

Fauci says otherwise. As he's a fricking retard.

I seriously thought about kissing my COVID-positive Granddaughter in law last year when it first hit. Would like an Antibody test, but like the cheap drugs that fidget CV, I know my Government will make both hard to get. The Government- corrupt version- is far more pernicious than the Virus. The virus is like a White Shark; the Gubmint uses death to attain it’s ideological end.

Not surprising. That's with any disease. If your body fights it off successfully, of course it's going to be stronger against another infection.

The point is that you have a stronger immune system to fight infection IF you already have had the vaccine. So your body doesn't have to fight as hard as it would if you weren't vaccinated.

Both of those statements are true but I'm sure there will be downvotes from idiots who probably think vaccines cause autism, too.

An antibody test through Labcorp is 10 bucks. Got one this month and had 1335 and anything greater than .8 is considered having antibodies. Just go get a test, it’s cheap, fast, and easy.

Exactly. I think there are other types of vaccines that can in certain situations provide a better and more robust immune response than natural immunity, but one that just freaks out to the spike protein is not one of them.

If it has been awhile and the Covid antibodies are nonexistent any more then you could get a T-cell test as well.

From what I can find, it seems like it would improve the effectiveness of natural immunity.

If you were already infected with corona virus, No.
Otherwise it depends on the target(s) of the antibody.
Natural immunity would apply to all targets.

quote:

The SARS-CoV-2 genome encodes four major structural proteins: spike (S), envelope (E), membrane (M), and nucleocapsid (N), as well as nonstructural and accessory proteins.

But the "vaccines" and the monoclonal antibodies only target the spike protein.

So you're better off getting the virus and recovering, as long as you do recover.
