Would you characterize those AL dems during that time period as liberals?

Yes. If for no other reason than they believed minorities were too stupid to take care of themselves and make their own decisions. Exactly like today.

This is a lie.

The disparity was largest during Clinton years. Sorry you’re a poor.

Great plan. Vote for Socialists and Communists for maximum wealth creation.

I don’t need any because everything I said is verifiably correct. You brought in the bs. Actually, you contributed absolutely nothing.

Shocker.

You’ve confused your opinion for fact. Shocker.

As if it’s bad that people get richer , lol. Again the rich get richer, but so do the poor. The fact of the matter is that most Americans, including myself have wild swings at different stages of life. We have an ASPIRATIONAL system ( when Obama the American Declinist isn’t running things) that rewards education , innovation and hard work that allows people to improve their lives free of State dictate. To see a poor guy , and assign him that status for the rest of his life, is just laughable. Check back in on him in 10 years. I was pretty poor from 1984- 1996. Now I’m not. Like most people.

Marxists/Socialists/Democrats would have taken my data from that era as proof of poverty, when in fact it was just a process of moving from poverty.

Here in Louisiana most of the Republicans used to be Democrats so you could say the Louisiana State legislature is still controlled by 'Democrats".

The poorest cities in these states are run by Democrats nearly at a rate of 100%.

Politics has little to do with it

Real talk, I think politics has little to do with how good the overall economy is in any state.

Any well off area (D or R) is going to protect it's best interests. Methods of economic policy will differ, but politics are beholden to those who create wealth.

Some states are not interested in creating thriving job markets. They prefer to keep the status quo of keeping certain percentages of the population in economic restraint. This happens in Red and Blue states.

I'm going to show you how your conclusion is very incomplete.

New York, California, and Illinois all have extremely large cities with an incredibly expensive economy to live in. If you're still with me, imagine that with top salaries being much higher, due to the aforementioned cost of living, then being unemployed or minimum wage would show a much larger Gap.

Just to be clear, are you saying that because the US has one of the highest incomes per capital, any wage gap isn’t a big deal?

No I was simply disproving your misguided and/or disingenuous attempt at makimg Dems look like they create a larger disparity. Now you are trying to play the other side and a weak gotcha attempt. Lets talk aboit the wage disparity between VPS, CEOs and say their engineering staff. Or maybe we can talk about how the same CEOs that make an unjustifiably higher-wage than the people who actually make things happen, get tax breaks that they shouldn't have.

You have it ALL backwards. And I scoff at the Buddhist/ Leftist bs. I AM a Buddhist practitioner. I attend a Vietnamese temple . I spent three hours there today in fact. And if there is one political ideology that runs through the temple it is Anti-Communism specifically and anti-Statism in general. The Dalai Lama ? Are you kidding me ? You do realize Communism has destroyed his country, right?

I think that I own my time. When The State can take my labor from me, they are essentially taking my time. If they take enough of my time, I am a slave. Statism tends toward enslavement. State ownership of your labor, money and worst of all Time. When you control a person’s time you have effectively controlled their life.

I favor individual LIBERTY and the US Constitution which protects those liberties.I have no time for someone who thinks it’s compassionate to confiscate another person’s time. Liberty and free markets are still the best path for mankind to find meaning and the pursuit of happiness. Sure they are imperfect, sure they suck. They just suck less than everything else.

And the State control you propose killed 100,000,000 in the last century and sent both my family and my wife’s family fleeing two separate continents for their lives. And now every Socialist douche canoe who can make a latte thinks they want to bring the misery here. No thanks bro.

What the hell are you talking about? I'm not for some state of government run everything or a communist or even a socialist. I believe in hybrid systems and I believe that education and Health Care should be paid for by everyone. You must realize that life for everyone in this entire country would be better if everyone around you was better educated. And life is the most precious resource that any human being has. I'm sure if you were a practitioner of Buddhism then you have learned about loving kindness and sending love to everyone around you.

Explain to me why in all your ranting about terrible Communist States that you didn't mention Europe one time. Why would you think that I would prefer the Soviet Union versus Sweden? It's pretty obvious that you're picking the most extreme examples of a totalitarian militaristic society, which by the way is much more right-wing than it is left, and using that as your focus. Strange when you have the example of Europe still existing and still doing well.

Attempting to reduce your perceived political opponent to that of a weak Kansas City fagot who makes coffee while wearing thick black rimmed glasses and has a pet cat at home. Those people exist but there are many more normal people on the left that believe that we should have a better education system and a better Healthcare System without becoming some totalitarian state where the government forces everyone to do everything.
