National Museum of American History has drag queens and crotch harnesses

When you plan a family trip to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, you might naturally assume you'll spend the day learning about George Washington, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitutional Convention, and the American Revolution.

According to a new White House report, however, you'd better carve out some time for chest binders, crotch harnesses, drag videos, and the diary of a girl praying every night for a penis.

This comes as part of a 162-page review of the Smithsonian Institution, concluding that the National Museum of American History has abandoned its mission of preserving America's shared history in favor of promoting progressive political activism.

Among the report's findings:

Visitors will reportedly find no major exhibits dedicated to the Founding era, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, the Continental Congress, the Pilgrims, the Puritans, or the American Revolution.

Benjamin Franklin is presented primarily through his connection to slavery while his role in founding the nation is minimized.

Exhibits include a transgender chest binder, a crotch harness described as an act of LGBTQ "resistance," drag-related displays, and the diary of a gender-confused girl who wrote that she prayed for a penis.

Museum employees were reportedly encouraged through "anti-racist" training materials to confront "whiteness."

The report argues that the museum no longer treats American history as "a shared national inheritance to be taught or celebrated," but instead uses it as "a political instrument to divide, dispirit, and discourage our citizens."

Apparently, America's founding, the Revolution, and many of the men responsible for creating the republic just couldn't compete with a crotch harness.

Museum director Anthea Hartig has previously said she wants to use the museum to "advance social justice" and "reframe the traditional, celebratory narrative of U.S. history."

The Smithsonian responded to the damning report by insisting it remains committed to "nonpartisan and independent scholarship."
