The media is spinning this as hard as they can while virtually ignoring it during the Obama administration. Actually only the budget defict through fiscal year 2017 which ended in 2018 can be atributed to Trump. The last Obama fiscal year budget ran through September of 2017.

After the bold part, you just went into some gibberish sort of rant that made no sense. I believe you were trying to say orange man bad, but your sky scream kind of made things unclear. I can make up things out of my arse too, but I don't because I don't want to be seemed an idiot.

I saw that post too. It was classic NPC/Orange Man Bad, type stuff. I just ignore the blatant bed wetters.

I agree with you, however I'am willing to give him a little time, he can only fight so many battles at one time. His enemies (Dems and half the Repubs) have done a good job of making him not near as effective as he could be without all the interference he fights constantly.

bullshite. Most Republicans aren't fiscally responsible anymore.

It is a small number which doesn't in any way contradict what I said.

Yes, the Green Deal BS is tremendously more than any Republican could ever dream of spending and the Green Deal will never see a single facet passed by Democrats even if they controlled every aspect of the government.

Uh yes. The debt was a daily topic of discussion here under Obama

The whole reason I was on the Trump Train day 1 was a bird finger to Paul Ryan for giving Obama every nickel he wanted. Unfortunately most members of the Republican party don't care.

Well this is just plainly false. The majority of Republicans do not support the NEW ideas for spending the Dems have. If they did, it would already exist.

Republicans are scared shitless of reigning in existing spending to be sure. But that's another discussion.

Man you are really splitting hairs. Whether its "new" or not is mostly inconsequential. Republicans are pumping funds into already bloated departments. Not sure how that makes it better.

The media wasn't all that bearish on it under Obama, but we on this board certainly were. Watching the continuing deficits and the rising debt is the only thing I consider negative about allocating more money for a wall on the southern border.

The media has been quick to glom onto revenues being down, but a little-highlighted fact is that the rate of people having already filed their returns by this point is down as well. We really won't see the true numbers until after total revenues have been counted (at least for those not late-filing). I believe we'll still be running a deficit, my hope is that it will not be nearly as high as projected due to more people paying taxes (as opposed to fewer people paying more).
