Only one issue.

The names given were not members of decentralized "media", but instead were leaders of legacy media. The trusted media. While I do not know the ins-and-outs of the legality of payments from foreign entities to journalists here, nor is the specifics of the payments given, it is troubling news.

There is no whataboutism when my response remains consistent. I'm not deflecting form the impact of China by trying to decrease the severity by referencing Russia. It's all bad. I've been pointing out the problems with NPCs falling victim to this echo chamber mentality since 2018 or so...certainly since the Qtard era emerged.

The problem is those who are not consistent on this general issue. They have a lot of cognitive bias to sort through.

You’re doing exactly what I said you’d do. That these trips happened and were sponsored isn’t debatable. That these journalists went on to write China-favorable positions in US media isn’t debatable.
