JOHS is rated 4/10 on great schools and thats mostly because of their diversity score. The majority of the students are borderline illiterate and that's reflected in their test scorea and an average ACT of 17.
Fyi, 90% of Nashville public schools are the same. Most people don't understand that Nashville is a shite hole.

Anytime “diversity” is a criterion for evaluating a school, the evaluation process is worthless.

What happened to religion and schools not being a thing

In their world, it’s DEI as the priority, and screw anything that gets in the way.

I am sure there are thousands of these stories across America: I grew up in Nashville and went to public schools there. This high school used to be a good high school - definitely one of the top 2 or 3 in the city. It is in one of the nicest neighborhoods in the city (Forest Hills) and is very close to the Governor's Mansion. Desegregation hurt the school but did not destroy it. It was still roughly 50% white in the late 80s/arly 90s. A lot of smart kids and a solid athletic program (later on Mookie Betts attended).
But by the mid to late 90s you could tell that it was headed in the wrong direction (like the other 2 decent schools at the time). And by the early 2010s it was completely unrecognizable to someone that knew it 15 years ago. That is how quickly it changed.
Basically 15 years from a school that, while not your first choice, you wouldn't have had a problem sending your kids there to it being a literal shithole. Or as my kids' pediatrician put it - "don't send your kids there, it is a jungle now."

We have a huge population of idiots actively watching what’s going on in Europe with this, and what do they do? They continue to escalate the same thing here.
Can anyone explain this way of thinking to me? It’s impossible for me to understand.
Many of these idiots are conservatives who listen to Candace and Tucker. Their basic thought process is, "Jews bad, and Muslims hate Jews, so Muslims good."
That's seriously the depth of their thinking.

Accommodating people who are incompatible to America and Western values, is a dangerous game that political fools are playing.

Being a conservative Christian, IF we had deprived our children of food and drink all day for any religious reason, we would be accused of and convicted of child cruelty, child endangerment, and child abuse. If these towel heads want to fast during Ramadan or any time, go ahead. I don't care. But if their kids are under 18, throw these parents in jail for forcing these kids to go hungry and thirsty all day under the guise of fasting for Ramadan. Oh yeah, and Nashville is the pits. Just got back from there yesterday. Hate that place.
