It wasn't a man. It was a fully grown child. He is a former minor.

This type of shooting happens almost once per day. It is still a very rate event.

And in this article there is link to two other articles. One where apparently a woman was arrested for molesting her child and the family’s dog. Woof.
Another is the arrest of a 20 year old man who lived underneath the bed of a teen he met on Instagram and raped her over the course of 3 weeks. He was discovered under the bed by the mother.

You can only use a fire arm if the suspect is using one.
Otherwise the suspect chooses weapon of the conflict.
In cases with knives, the cops better start training like Arnold in Commando.
