Parler is actually back up and Gab is now a ghost town, so I'm assuming everyone bailed to the "serious" site.

Keep kicking that ball, Charlie Brown. It will be different this time.

Naomi Wolf

She has been on Crowder before. While I may not agree with her 100%, I respect for her willingness to engage in mostly productive conversations.

Right, she is a bit more in the Greenwald style of old school progressive that is against big brother and the police state.

I always try to admin based on what is good or bad for the site, not what is good or bad according to my beliefs. I feel like twitter has bots running algos that are banning people based on key words, retweets and likes and their human mods are 100% banning people they disagree with personally

that shite is really bad for business
curious as to whom downvoted this, and why

you and I have been admins here for about 16 years. I can honestly say I have always tried to minimize my personal feelings getting in the way of adminning the site, it is very hard sometimes

that being said I always try to admin based on what is good or bad for the site, not what is good or bad according to my beliefs
True dat, but some people are cray cray, so there's that. Somebody accused me once of suspending a poster because he said something critical of the Los Angeles Clippers. And this was years ago at a time when you couldn't even speak about the Clippers without saying something critical. They were abysmal.

I think Ms. Wolf found out that the grinches at twitter don't care if you're a liberal not. Unauthorized speech will not be allowed.

Between Naomi, blexit, Bill Maher, Joe Rogan and the queer activist on Tim Pools video, there are a lot of high profile leftists who seem to be exiting & rebuking the hard sjw sharia left.

And that doesn’t count the middle of the road people who aren’t all that political either way who are just getting fed up with this constant shrill noise of intolerance.

This only makes it seem far less likely that Joe Biden won the election - fairly.

I admit I had to look up her bio. She's a Democrat, and a feminist.

I have mixed feelings about folks like her. Sure, I'm glad she's seeing the light...now. But it's people like her, leftists who only now seem to be upset by the left's behavior because it's finally reached their OWN doorsteps that got us to this point in the first place by allowing the encroachment to happen. They were silent for decades as people on the right complained about this type of behavior, but sat silently or even applauded it because it was taking out their political enemies.

Now that it's come for them, they start to act concerned.

Even she’s an idiot for returning to the platform. Muh self-validation!

If TD censored you continually, would you keep coming back? Would hope not

That’s way different though. Twitter is so much bigger than anything else right now—biggest social platform for getting information / opinions / ideas out for public figures. Twitter has no competition. Basically, if she were to leave in protest, she’d lose, that would essentially be a win for Twitter, successfully silencing an opinion that doesn’t align with the typical liberal elite.
