Crazy to think about a plane is at 40,000 Ft
ISS is at 1,320,000 Ft up
and this thing was at 13,200,000 ft up..

Right after a no show meeting with Schumer and Pelosi. West Coast has had an uptick in public safety announcements last couple of days as well per some Twitterers

It's not ICBMs go that high.

Think about our GBMs intercepting them that high and each missile travel 16,000mph

If a ballistic missile can hit a target several thousand miles away by flying in a parabolic arc, why is it hard to believe that it can fly those same several thousand miles straight up?

But it is. To put it in better perspective, geostationary orbit (where satellites are) is 22236 mi. Above surface. While this sounds extremely high, spacecraft returning to earth begin to experience the atmosphere around 77 mi above the surface. The purpose of the ICBM is to just get the payload into space. The key is the create a reentry missile that takes over once in suborbital flight.

NK is basically shooting these bitches straight up and down. They're proving their distance, but they haven't proven they can aim these things or Target a reentry vehicle.

They're saying it could reach 13,000 km now.

Considering their recently-defected border guard was eaten up with an enormous number of worms and parasites I agree that something seems fricky about this.

I don't doubt the military intel, but I doubt things like it being NoKo's intent to put a missile that high or that it has a dependable guidance system that could navigate it to our shores or that they have the resources to mass-produce them or that they can carry an actual warhead.

How low are they getting on resources if they're still pushing forward with missile tech while their most visible weaponry (border guards) are damned near Walking Dead?

Just to give you and idea which parts of the United States #NorthKorea could reach with its latest ICBM (13000 km range).
