Whether your body saw COVID for the first time with pre-existing immunity or not made a big difference in outcomes.

That's a claim, but where is the data? Is there a study that compares myo rates in vaxxed vs unvaxxed?

First, you can’t be serious. Second, if you THINK you’re being serious…damn. There’s living under a rock and then there’s living under a boulder and then there’s this.

COVID causes much more myocarditis than the vaccine, so assuming the Gumboman is vaxxed?

Irrelevant. The vaccine doesn’t prevent COVID.

Liar. You lie about stuff that is so easily provable. Like most far left wackos, you have zero shame.

If you think about it, it really was a small price to pay. Little myocarditis in exchange for free Shake Shack. Slightly enlarged heart in exchange for an entrance into the lottery. Embolism in exchange for being allowed into the local Starbucks.

worse

For worse - it's way worse in kids and less-worse in adults. There aren't a lot of very long term outcomes, but this French study is interesting. It's 12-49 year olds with myocarditis related to COVID, vaccine, or neither and found vaccine-related myocarditis with better outcomes at 18 months (the other two were similar to each other).

quote:

Question: What is the long-term prognosis of myocarditis after COVID-19 mRNA vaccination and do clinical outcomes and medical management differ from myocarditis of other origins?

Finding: In this nationwide cohort study including 4635 patients hospitalized for myocarditis in France during the first 1.5 years after COVID-19 vaccination, the 558 individuals with postvaccine myocarditis had less severe cardiovascular events than those with myocarditis of other origins at 18 months of follow-up. However, affected patients, mainly healthy young men, may require medical management up to several months after hospital discharge.

It's also more likely for you to develop myocarditis from COVID than vaccine.

But the vax didn’t prevent people from getting Covid.

But the comparison here is between the same set of immunogenic material. Or rather, the vaccine had one small antigen relative to all the potential antigens of the live virus.

That's what I meant by "worse"; are there more incidents, not the severity.

Is this pretty well accepted and non-controversial? Are there studies that have different results?

You are either a massive troll or you are a very very mentally ill and brainwashed individual. That is a 100% fact.

Ah, likelihood.

Here's a study of 43 million vaccinated people in the UK over a 12-month period before/during/after the vaccines rolled out and found that people were 11x more likely to develop myocarditis during the pandemic before vaccination compared to after.

I can look for contrary data...

You guys are so brainwashed. You found a liberal dr/study that agrees with your beliefs and denounce all the others that disagree. Carry on.

everyone accuses everyone else of cherrypicking. If you want to find evidence of a desired belief, you'll find it, right?

I guess we'll all have to wait patiently for 75 YEARS to find out for sure.

And you found what you wanted, and ignored the rest. What I've found is that liberals will go to whatever extent they need to, in order to support their beliefs and policies...whereas conservatives are much more factual. Laugh all you want, but look at this absolute disaster of a democratic party currently.
