My grandfather was a World War II veteran who served in the Army Air Forces. He died in 2001, followed by my grandmother in 2004. As much as I miss them to this day, I’m glad they didn’t have to see what has become of the United States and the world in general.

My cousin and I was doing our ancestry. He lives in Virginia and I am from Louisiana, I hunted down my relatives and we would share any pictures and fill in their families. I found that my dads first cousin married a guy who was killed on the first day of the Normandy invasion. They had just wed before he was shipped out. I visited my Great uncle and he had a picture of a soldier on his wall and to elderly people next to him. He said that he married his second wife and that was her first husband. His body never was found. He plane was shot down over the water. The old people were his parents. His wife died years ago but he still honored her first husband and his parents. He was 101 years old.

I try to celebrate and honor them every day. My family has given its future for a bunch of trany statue tearing down woke fricks. My rage is I should have more cousins and I don't and for what freedom for 70 years and now you get to watch Rome burn..... for what purpose what gain.
I love my country but would break my sons legs before I let him be a part of what they call a military or the people in charge.
Let it burn

Props to him and we appreciate his service. My great uncle was a country boy bad arse! He served in WWII and Korea. Got the Silver Star saving a comrade taking fire behind enemy lines. Got the Purple Heart for jacking his leg up diving into a foxhole. Just an overall skull cracker! Our family was always proud of him!
