My conspiracy theory about all this

Am I the only one who thinks this ruse is strictly to damage Trump?
Obviously, people are dying and yes that's scary. And yes we want to contain the spread of this disease. However the data suggests that is less fatal than influenza and WAY more people contracted/died from influenza in the 2018-2019 flu season.
This just seems like the opportunity the media has been waiting on to bring him down. Rigging election narrative didn't work, Russian collusion narrative didn't work, spying on Obama and email hacking didn't work, etc. Now they think they have something that will stick. The economy was booming and now has basically devalued by 33% in less than a week and they're loving it.
This just has the feeling of a take-down job.
ETA: I'm saying the media response is the concerted effort not the virus itself was crested to harm Trump.

When this was a nothing virus causing a few cases in China the left was already jumping all over it to get Trump. I have no doubt they are using it to the full extent to have something to throw at him come November

If true that would mean the conspirators are much greater than just the looney leftists in America.....this would be a NWO/Globalists level operation, which seems to be where the heart and soul of the Prog/Dim ideology resides.

I do not look at it as a true conspiracy - I do not believe anyone or any group conspired to "plant the Chinese Wuhan Virus."
That said, I do believe the MSM, DNC, Democrats and Never Trumpers acted together to do everything they possibly could to make this into as big a problem as possible for the USA and Trump. That's just their blinded by hate motivation
Look, Billy Kristol sold his soul and supported Biden before this; CNN, WAPO and the NYT have long ago publicly declared that they will drop any objectivity to rid the country of Trump....) Reuters, Bloomberg News, NBC, CBS, and ABC have the same objectives but are not honest enough to declare it.
It's ju7st haters hating! Unfortunately, they do control the air wavws. Fortunately, their outrageous hatred has become so obvious that , except for fellow leftist haters, the US population now is well aware of it. As Trump's mastery of the situation and bias for proper action produces miraculous results, we may get some much needed changes in media policies....
Just remember God is good and He loves the truth and hates Satan, the original liar!!

Yes that's my point.
I think the virus is a legitimate issue that started organically. My point is that the media is actively hyping it up and creating fear/panic a amongst the populace.
Then their pinning it all back on Trump and saying he's doing nothing to help the American people or stop the spread of the virus.

Unfortunately the narrative is set: this is the Trump virus. Not like it was a planned conspiracy, but the dems will/have jump on every little mistake and mishap and exploit it.
