I fully support every individual’s RIGHT to decide if the vaccine is right for them, and where applicable, their kids.
There’s certainly enough uncertainty generated from suspect partisan “official” sources to generate doubt about their safety. And it’s also unproven science about whether COVID “survivors” need the shot(s).
The Delta variant’s danger and incidence is almost certainly greatly exaggerated for political reasons. Cases are irrelevant, but even so the numbers are still lower than when the CDC called off masks.
Young people and kids without serious medical issues have almost no risk from COVID, and even the biased data shows this to be true beyond any reasonable doubt. For the most part healthy people of all ages are low risk. Grossly obese diabetic smokers are the group at risk in all age groups.
The unvaxxed are POC overwhelming.
There’s also plenty of data available that shows the vaccine’s overall effectiveness to be at least as good as any other vaccine out there.
So whether you want the jab or not I can’t understand why anyone would not want it to be effective. The jab is certainly beyond a doubt our quickest path back to normalcy. Wanting it to fail makes no sense.
