Rosenstein basically allowed this guy to have what amounts to unfettered power with very little oversight.....I still really can't see what Manafort and his tax evasion and activities 7-8 years ago have to do with "Russians" in 2015/16....I understand the strategy but if all they have at the end is this from Manafort and some hijinks by the 13 online......I would not want to be Rod Rosenstein or Robert Mueller for that matter
I also don't want to be Adam Schiff- because after all of this I'm not sure many people would have a problem with Trump getting all Machiavellian on all of them

Moreso than that, why hasn’t Mueller bothered to interview the Russian lawyer- natalia veselnitskaya?? I mean, one would think if he’s investigating Russian collusion, she might be one to talk to considering she went to the “sketchy” meeting to hand over documents...
The answer is easy- he doesn’t want to interview her because then he’d have to acknowledge the fact that Veselnitskaya set up the meeting at the direction of Glenn simpson and Fusion gps.

This is what was done for the DNC servers fwiw. And is SOP for addressing hacked machines.

The information came from the party Manafort was texting. Hell! If it was me, the minute I saw anything from Manafort, I would have been sleeping at Mueller’s office door.
