Why would you use a phone and zoom at the same time? The feedback loop on that must've been pretty nice.

As much as I despise Joe, I gotta stick up for him on this one. It looks there was someone else on the phone and Joe has it turned and tilted so the microphone was closer to computer speakers.

Probably so, but the script and MSDNC's covering of it is pretty blatant.

To be fair to Joe, I'll sometimes use a phone instead of my computer because the mic is better on the phone.
