There won't be time to litigate this and determine all the facts from long ago. POLITICALLY, the benefit of zinging Acton with her mother is going to be swallowed by the sympathy Acton gets.

Yes there is. I already litigated it. There are no records that indicate her stepfather was ever charged with a crime. From that information, we can safely conclude that Amy Acton lied and destroyed her own family. Her mom even confirms that Amy testified against the stepfather. There had to be pretty solid evidence she was lying for the stepfather to have gotten away clean at that point.
Would be pretty easy to medically confirm that a young girl wasn't raped.

She accused her stepfather of rape, and even testified before a Grand Jury (according to both her and her mother). There is no indication that he was ever charged. There must have been very strong evidence that she was lying.

For someone smarter than me, which is probably you.
How wouldn’t testify in front of a grand jury about this if he was never charged?
Regardless, it’s just a bad look. It’s hard to believe a 12 year old and her brother who was also a minor made this up on their own accord (but possible).
But if you’re not 100% positive of that, this move is going to backfire tremendously if you’re Vivek.

Probably the majority of voters make their decisions on emotion. Between the two, Acton is going to come across as sympathetic.
There will be one of two possible reactions to this:
-her own mother called her a liar!
-Vivek already comes across as a little, sleazy. Pitting a 12 y.o. girl against her mother who chose the man who sexually abused little Amy is REALLY despicable.
Just my opinion, but I doubt anyone's vote is going to be influenced by the liar accusation against Acton. Like me, people who couldn't stand Acton's lies during Covid, dislike her already.
