My problem with Ashli Babbitt's death has less to do with the circumstances surrounding her death and more to do with the reaction to her death. If Trump had won, and had this been an unarmed black woman shot by police while attempting to "stop the steal," this officer's name would be international news and he no doubt would have been indicted on murder charges, especially given the fact that this same officer left a loaded weapon unattended in a public bathroom just a year or two ago. He would have been (justly) accused of gross incompetence and firing indiscriminately into an unarmed crowd because the man panicked and feared for his life.

But she was white and a trump supporter. And the damn government won’t even release the officers name. And since the government has chosen to not charge that officer with anything the victims family should be able to sue him civilly.
Hard to sue someone when their fricking name won’t be released.

Yeah, she was such a threat that the two uniformed officers six feet away from her did NOTHING to try to stop her or any of the other protesters (who were mostly peaceful, BTW).
