Man, you should just come out as a Nazi, given how many apologies you make on their behalf. They burned books by Jewish authors regardless of their field, and burned books by Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, John Dos Passos, Stefan Zweig, Joseph Conrad, and James Joyce, among many many others.

I hate Nazis.
Not only did they burn books but they disarmed the citizenry, consolidated power for the State, forced experimental medical procedures on people, ostracized and punished people for wrong-think, used the Police to attack their Political Enemies, controlled and co-ordinated with the Media to force-feed the population their version of Politically Correct messaging.
I just thank GOD that people learned from History and will never repeat those same mista......wait, all that shite sounds familiar....

No, you just like being the victim. There might be a corollary with certain decisions German conservatives made in the late 1920's, which allowed the Nazi's to gain more power, if we have to make a comparison between the two eras. The German militarists determined that the SPD could never rule Germany, and through their myopia led to their own downfall, as many of them were executed and/or sidelined by the Nazis after 1933.
I think you desperately want to be a victim, so you'll make oblique comparisons to the Nazis for your enemies, because you want some justification for your victimhood, when in fact very little of this time period really resembles the late Weimar era. But you do you. I'm sure you'll find perpetual victimhood fulfilling.
