He demonstrated to general election voters that he's a better option than "Gav."

He let a LOT of people learn about Newsom that may not have known, and to those that already knew, there is literally no remote comparison between them. This isn't a competition. This was a popularity and relevance pageant.

You can't compare apples and oranges. So, by your point, the only people Ron could persuade would be idiots that didn't know who Ron was already. I suspect more people just learned who Gavin was than Ron. That's why I think it only helped that communist.

Who didn't know about Newsom that would also not have known about him when it matters?

This is some weak shite.

You're probably right. I'm sure Newsom did this debate was out of charity and a moral sense of obligation for his country.

Or...hear me out...he's a current or future competitor and saw it as an opportunity to defend his platform.

You failed.

I’ll be the judge of this, being the senior intelligence agent, and by intelligence I mean IQ and wisdom. I hereforth pass judgment, to wit: you’re wrong, person on the opposing side is right. Site unseen.

You’re welcome to appeal, but my sound judgement has never been overturned.
