More racial diversity in U.S. police departments unlikely to reduce shootings

It's been studied and proven many times by people like Thomas Sowell. This is not news to me as a matter of fact not opinion.
So people have any idea how hard it would be to prove if it was racially driven? You would have to go through ever single case individually and it would still be a subject opinion on each case.

A bullet has only one color. And the officer on the intended other end of that bullet is gonna shoot the perp, period. Truth is black males of a certain age group are many more times likely to commit violent crimes than are whites. Something like 8 times in some areas.And about 4 times more likely than Hispanics. And we all occupy the same country so you do the math. The shootings by young black males in our smaller city of less than 200K have become more and more spontaneous and senseless. Out driving and a group sees someone they want to make sport of and shoot an autistic and beloved young black man and leave him to die. A weekend party and someone feels disrespected. Tons of gang related shootings. They even are now going into the hospitals to finish the job on survivors. Add that to the drive by and spraying homes. A human life means nothing to some.
All this has more to do with LBJ's great leap forward in the sixties where he broke up the black family structure. Paying women to give birth to babies out of wedlock. Combine that with the rampant drug culture and the gang atmosphere that is centered around that and what would you expect. Young black males are going to be shot, mostly by other young black males but some by police. And NO ONE wants to admit or confront or do anything about the problem because it is RACIST to admit there is a problem.

public outreach in commmunities and neighborhoods is what really helps.
