The guys on All In have discussed this. The next device could be some type of wearable device like a pendant. The other option is something that already exists- the Apple Watch.

Yes, and they stuck as close to the books as any adaptation I've seen. A lot of the conversations are lifted straight from the text, which I guess is written like a screenplay to begin with.

Apple has always been overhyped IMO. Jobs was great at promotion to hipsters. Cook is just riding on the wave created by Jobs.

Iphone's and Samsung's phones aren't really phones. They're mobile pocket size computers with an app that can make a voice call.
