The fact is, giving up career leaves women uniquely vulnerable to a midlife "trade in".
It’s usually the women who do the trading. Indeed divorce rates are the highest among lesbians. And women initiate like70% or more of divorces againat men.
Moreover,
1. She gets half or more of the husband’s assets
2. She gets social security credits even though she did not earn a paycheck
So your term. “vulnerable” is incorrect

Maybe you covered this before, if a woman stays at home and she and her husband have only a joint bank account, is her work at home still uncompensated?
I am not making an argument that women should be treated as the employees of their husbands. I am not suggesting that husbands pay their wives to do chores. I explained why society doesn’t value the unpaid labor of women.

Or is she missing out on a fulfilling career at Walmart picking up clothes off the floor after customers knock them over.
I don’t recall discussing job fulfillment.

Or are you only concerned about the career potential of college graduates?
? No.

Not sure how fulfilling you think blue collar jobs are.
Job fulfillment accompanies getting paid. Jobs are means to ends, not ends themselves.

Would you say that husbands who have stay at home wives in general value their wives value to the home?
In single income households with shared bank accounts, no one is paying anyone, nor is either role unvalued.
Its teamwork pure and simple. Everything in the household is shared. The husband values the wife's value and the wife values the husbands value.

Then what exactly is being sacrificed?

But if the end is achieved why do women need to work?
There doesn't seem to be anything actually being sacrificed if women stay home, especially in a blue collar environment.
