Making peace with Russia would mean letting go of that messianic idea of that we have to reshape the world in our image. Unfortunately, I don’t think Americans are willing to do that

The U.N. is who truly wants utopian communism - and they are currently acting on it with Biden's/DC's blessing.
A majority of Americans are not neocons and would love an America that Patrick J Buchanan & Trump wanted. Staying out of everyone's business; yet being so strong that nobody messes with us as we trust but verify-as Reagan & Trump did.

Russia isn’t ideological. That died with the USSR. Putin once said that if you didn’t miss Soviet times, you didn’t have a heart, and if you wanted them back, you didn’t have a brain.
By the late 80s Soviet leadership, and this was especially true among the Russians, looked at the USSR, and asked, what was the point? Why were they spending so much blood on treasure on it? It didn’t benefit them.
