I'm glad the jury didn't buy that bullshite story that he was kidnapped and by 2 males and blindfolded. One of them happened to have the same name as her boyfriend. Then, they drove out to the field to kill her and left him there to bury her and leave behind evidence.
The defense literally made up a story to get him off and frame the boyfriend. Sick people.

I'm guessing that some libs are screaming that it's unfair to convict him by our idea of justice... because of the difference in culture, he didn't know any better.
I somewhat joke, but somewhat serious. I still remember the story of a 12 or 13 year old girl being gangbanged in the girls restroom at her highschool. The rapists were like 17 and 18. But they were illegals. While the girl had to drop out of school because of being traumatized, the school only gave her rapists a slap on the wrist with a little suspension. School basically implied that because of cultural differences, the rapists didn't know any better.

Sure, it's their job to try and get their client off. But to that extent makes one wonder how they sleep at night.
