This thread is weird. Mob justice is the worst thing in the world, and anyone who disagrees should be exposed and subject to the mob.

If she lied and got someone killed (by her husband), then let her face justice with a fair trial. Storming a Nursing Home should never be allowed. Looks like they got nowhere near her, and the police handled it well. But I have no problem serving the warrant on her no matter how old she is.
Statute of limitations are as much a part of our justice system as warrants. This lady shouldn’t suffer any legal consequences or face any “justice” for whatever she might have done.

The bigger question I take out of this, who the hell are they hiring for cleaning/maintenance at this court house? 65 years and the just found the warrant?

Soooo he did just whistle at her. What his father did is 100% irrelevant.
The irony here is that much of the call for “racial justice” or “social justice” is based on the actions of people hundred or more years ago, who aren’t even related to many us. One could claim their actions are “100% irrelevant” to any discussion about people living today.

Statute of limitations
Murder case usually doesn’t have a statute of limitations. If she knew what she was causing to happen then she is an accessory. No problem in at least her being questioned.

I’ve asked two people the same question, and I’ve received zero answers.
What exactly do you wanna see done here? You want an elderly woman, who no one has ever accused of the murder, to be drug in court?
You want a race baiting garbage media circus? You want more riots when the people the garbage media stir up doesn’t get their way? You want groups of race baiters to come down to Tallahatchie county, MS and stir up a current peaceful and harmonious place??
To have a trial with no witnesses.. no evidence.. no proof… no current or past charge of murder, from anyone?
Is that what you really want??

It's not about any justice, it's economic and entitlement.
California took a piece of property, Bruce's Beach, from a black family, Because of eminent domain, 97 years ago,, and then in 2021 gave it back to their ancestors.
Guess, they didn't want to move there so now they lease the land to California for 20 million.

She has admitted giving false testimony.

This thread typifies why it’s generally a really bad idea to attempt to reopen wounds of the past. No one here or in the mob that forced its way into the nursing home have any real connection to the Till murder and I very seriously doubt they want mobs of people out seeking retribution 50 years later for events they aren’t connected to
