Talk about waiting on ruling to run out the clock.

The wacky Missouri Supreme Court on Thursday threw out the state’s new congressional map that favored the GOP and eliminated one Democrat seat to Congress.
According to the ruling, the new map will only go into effect in 2028 if voters approve it during the 2026 midterms.
Missouri already held primaries! So Missouri Candidates have to figure out which district they are running in – after they already won their primary!
quote:
Back in September 2025, almost a year ago, GOP legislators in the state approved a redistricting plan that dismantled the Democrat stronghold of the 5th District in Kansas City, and partitioned it across rural Republican-dominated districts, according to AP News. The resolution passed 90-65. It wasn’t even close.
On Thursday afternoon, Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway announced she will move immediately to seek relief from SCOTUS adding that she is confident the federal courts will not allow every Missouri voter to be disenfranchised.
Talk about waiting on ruling to run out the clock.

This is interesting and I (generally) want to stay informed.
Realistically what am I supposed to do with information like this? Vote harder from my non-Missouri location?

To show that those who don’t want fairness will usurp the rules and laws to get what they want is what.

Something to consider in the ongoing struggle against Democratic Socialism/Marxism. A clear majority of legal professionals consider themselves liberal, lawyers graduate from decidedly leftist universities, judges typically move up the ranks from the lawyer class.........it's not going to be easy to defeat the enemies from within.

You could have read it. Considered yourself informed and moved on. Seems simple enough to me.

They'll be overturned by SCOTUS. Quickly.

It was the SoS who waited out the clock not the court. He sat on the petition for months.
