Folks know now that it is for medicinal purposes and the strain doesn't leave her stoned. Honestly, if a person hadn't see her use it, you wouldn't even know she had used it.
Yeah, you'll never know if I use it or not. Nothing changes.
I used for two years and the wife had no clue.

Same would have been said about the tranny movement sticking to the "early adopting" states, but now it's being fought in every state. Slippery slope is a biatch.
Weed =/= trannies
That's a big ol' reach.
quote:
The young stoner population will grow and eventually society won't be the same. Grown adults smoking on occasion is different than teens smoking up everyday while their parents have no clue, as it's not like they are drunk.
This is so silly. Tbh, most of the folks I know irl who use weed are my age (older millennials) and older. Pretending it's some kind of minor/teen craze is ridiculous.
quote:
All my friends that went the stoner route have a different sense of reality, so of course the argument goes down the road it has. Nothing to do with rights, as a society needs to have guardrails to maintain civility
The government of a free society shouldn't be in the business of "guardrails" for freaking weed. Ridiculous.
quote:
guess I'm glad to see so many parents in here will be proud of getting high with their children.
I don't use weed. Doesn't interest me. Won't permit my kids to use it as minors, either. Once they're adults, they can make their own decisions. Get the government out of the way. My job is to equip them with the mindset to do their own due diligence. Not the government's to provide societal "guiderails."

Wow, talk about your ungrateful, anti-social misanthrope.
Thanks for the example, Roger.

The weird thing is, we agree on the matter, but you, much like me ex-wife, have a terribly disagreeable way of agreeing.

You are an angry, bitter little man. It's best for all of us that you stay by yourself up there in the wilderness.
But don't worry, I'm sure it will all end soon enough for you.

Not at all, just not a delusional nerd who thinks the world actually cares about him.
You're just pissed people don't support your little tranny and grift operations.

Yawn.

MO is going to need a way to monitor intoxication for both alcohol and pot along with the combination of the two for drivers.

Fully aware and know plenty. Doesn't mean it's a good thing, cause I know some who have some major issues they are dealing with. Especially mentally.

Im not sure why you're concerned about a mythical societies productivity. They hate you.
I see a different slippery slope here or may just be capable to see one where you cant. I'm mature enough to separate personal want on something and recognize the potential issues in the grand scheme of life. Especially easy after seeing where it has lead in particular states. You take the "doesn't affect me none if they get married" approach, and it's a failing one for society as a whole.
Vices always had guardrails that society on the whole helped people stay in. Helped parents guide their children, as they could depend that society as a whole would be on their page. We've lost that, especially with teachers in schools, and that's not good.

I think I see where your problem is. You seem to want to think that this whole cannabis issue isn't political. My point is that it has been extremely political since before you were born. I know kids today hate the idea that shite happened before they were born, but there it is.
As a matter of fact, something very important happened, politically, with the WoD the year you were born - the Willie Horton campaign ad. That ad came 7 years into the WoD, and was designed to make Democrats look soft on crime. What we would see in the 90s would be the Democrats trying to match the Republicans in state oppression through militarizing the police, minimum sentencing, and other law enforcement measures designed to infringe on our 4th Amendment rights in the name of the War on Drugs.
So while neither party alone is responsible for the ridiculous position we find ourselves in today vis-a-vis the legality of cannabis, that's not to say the path here hasn't been politicized the whole way.

Bruh, I literally called it a political football in the post to which you responded

Yeah I'm not a proponent of the WoD, either.

Too much red tape makes legal weed overly expensive, and discourages going legitimate.
Growers in Humboldt County, CA are going through this. Some are just saying to hell going legit, they're staying on the black market.
What do you expect? California will frick up a wet dream.

But obviously not Christian, cause Judeo-Christian values is based on guardrails provided by God.

God never intended on you making laws to hold someone else down. They are responsible for themselves.
